New Opening Hours

Well with all these longer days, sunnier times and volunteer staff we’ve reviewed our opening hours. So, officially we’re now open as follows.

Opening Hours

Monday – Saturday: 11.00 – 17.00

Sunday: 14.00 – 17.00

Readings 11.30 on Monday and 19.00 on Thursdays

Readings are great craic with epic orations from Chapter 5 of Ulysses, come by and listen in as it’s noticeably easier then reading the damn tome.

A monster thanks from the diligetn volunteers at Sweny’s to all who came down to Sweny’s yesterday to help celebrate BloomsDay. Massive success with all sorts wandering through in dapper and not so dapper duds.

Bikers Ahoy!!!

This morning’s pub crawl complete with Brian Dobson, Bill Cullen, 60 or so bicycles and a Garda escort – the only way to travel.

Bloomsday Wed 16th June 2010

Come by and celebrate Bloomsday on Wednesday 16th of June 2010 with the loyal band of volunteers dressed in character. There will be recitations throughout the day, and at noon there will be a reading from Don Cameron’s new piece called ‘Boys for the Black Stuff’ a short story about Bloomsday.
